The area around the municipalities of Felanitx and Santanyí is marked by its heritage and natural abundance. It features small villages of great beauty such ases Llombards, s’Alqueria Blanca, Portocolom and Cala Figuera. Its coastline includes some of the favourite spots of Mallorca’s population for relaxing in the summer months, places such as el Caló des Moro, Cala s’Algar, s’Amarador and many others. It is also possible to go for beautiful walks along the coast that lead to unspoilt beaches that few tourists visit.
Furthermore, these municipalities preserve a great variety of historical and prehistorical monuments, many of them of great significance as in the case of the Closos de Can Gaiá archaeological site, the settlement of ses Talaies de Can Jordi or the impressive castle of Santueri, perched over high cliffs.
This route also includes the Mondragó Natural Park that is of great scenic and environmental importance.
