A desire to have fun and learn
Nowadays it is very difficult for a child to picture what every-day life was like in the distant past, for example the Talayotic period.
Pop-ups are figures that stand out and come to life through paper. Children are well used to seeing these three-dimensional figures from very young. Pop-up books first appear in their lives with the first stories that teach them how the animals in the jungle live, what different houses around the world are like, or the different scenes of a theatrical work or a dance show.
This type of narrative technique is very familiar to them and it will help them to open a window to the past, to see what an everyday scene was like in a Talayotic settlement, in a different, fresh and lively way. Do you want to make a Talayotic pop-up?
